Tactical Polymer Belt Buckle
DLE was contracted by a client in the Alabama State Penitentiary system and commissioned to design a polymer belt buckle to allow for security guards to pass metal-detectors without triggering them. The mechanism employed a friction-based locking mechanism, and a standardized belt-connector system that could function for other belt accessories
Collapsable Travel Guitar
DLE was contracted by an individual in Australia to design and repair the models of an electric guitar whose purpose was to be collapsable into profile that could be stored in a suitcase.
Collapsable Fruit Bowl Design
Prior to the incorporation of DLE, Derek Liu was contracted by a merchant in France to design and 3D print a collapsable fruit rack. Pictured is not the final version but several prototypes were manufactured with FDM and MSLA 3D Printing

Long Beach Lunabotics
Long Beach Lunabotics is a organization at CSULB that contracted Derek Liu prior to the founding of DLE to design the tank-track drivetrain and suspension system for their Competition Lunar Rover. This lunar rover placed in the competition year of 2021-2022. Our founder is present in some of the pictures of the gallery linked below. On occasion, connections derived from this organization are employed for objectives and missions.
