Education
A graduate of California State University of Long Beach with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, I spent the majority of my time in academia focused on the pursuit of skills over anything else. Even so, I found myself quickly drawn to the fields of CAD and CAE, and by extension quickly developed my skills in CATIA V5 and SolidWorks. I spent my first half decade in university refining my knowledge and proficiency in these programs until I discovered fluid dynamics during COVID-19 in 2021 before the subsequent academic pathway that would lead toward thermodynamics classes. While it took me a while to fully grasp the concepts taught in those classes, the paradigm shift nonetheless felt natural. Thus I quickly found myself fascinated by the subject as both a natural extension of my expertise and interests, as well as a subject by which I could potentially foresee a future in a post graduate program.

Projects
I’ve always been an individual who learns best by doing. As such, from the day I first learned to use basic CAD and CAE programs, I’ve been on a mission to flex my intellectual muscles and explore the limits of the tools at my disposal. Contrary to the experience to most in the engineering field, I first learned to use CATIA V5, generally considered to be the more difficult of Dassault Systemes CAD Products, to explore the extensive GSD toolset before then moving on to SolidWorks in 2019 at a local community College 3 years later. Since then, I’ve gained a respect for both programs as tools well fitted for their own respective applications and have appropriately and extensively utilized both for their own equally vast portfolio of independent, professional, and educational projects. Eventually, these projects resulted in the foundation of businesses and the filing of patents. Every step of the way I became a better engineer, and much more.

Professional Experience
My professional Experience began well before I ever knew I wanted to be an engineer as a hard floor installation apprentice and laborer under my uncle, who would take me to work with him to help on job sites. My job was simple, but laborious. While the nature of my work would radically change in future endeavors, the work ethic would remain and carry me forth in my career from seasonal intern roles to professional engineer positions entrusted to work on entire product lines and overseeing other engineers.

Literature
My literary pursuits very much started as a form of self expression that stemmed from my own personal life. At first it was fan fiction based off the Sly Cooper video game series, of which I would not recommend looking for as it was written quickly and without any support. Then, I set out in my own independent work, Another Life. This work is one which I do not regard in high regard, I nonetheless must respect as it is something that stemmed from a pivotal time in my life during which I chose the path on which I currently am, and as such those emotions and experiences are the seeds from which the book is written from. With the lessons learned in these previous two novels, I then set out to make a pair of books in the same canon of the Odysseus Chronicles, but foundationally separate and independently able to stand on their own merits in the Letters From The Front series, The Book of Ivan and The Book of Liam.
